Introduction
Lawyers for Young People "LFYP" is a legal advice service for children and young people focusing, in particular, on the issues faced by Looked After Children (that is, children in care), young people leaving care and those needing services up to the age of 25-years.
LFYP is based within an award winning law firm, Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP in Colchester, Essex.
Through LFYP, you can also get advice on lots of different areas of law, or can get help to find the advice you need. Hopefully this will go a long way towards sorting your problems.
Children in Care - what more can be done?
We feel children in care should be able to access legal advice quickly and easily to prevent problems escalating. For more information about our views see attached Lawyers for Young People - Articles
If you are a child in care, lawyer or a youth worker and you agree or disagree with this or have any thoughts about children in care and the law, please let us know by emailing us at info@lfyp.org.uk
Your views are important to us and we would really like to hear from you if you have any comments.
