LFYP is all about you. That is if you are a child or young person wanting to speak to a solicitor.
What sort of things can I phone about?
You can call about anything.If the solicitor can help you, he/she will. If not, the solicitor will help you find the right help for your problem elsewhere.
Where do I see the solicitor
The solicitor will come to see you at a place comfortable to you. This may be at home, school, a club or anywhere else.
What if I hate using the phone but want to contact the service
You can email from a library even if you don’t have access to a computer at home or school. Or you can text.
Will the solicitor tell anyone about my case
No, everything you talk about is confidential (save in some certain circumstances which the solicitor will explain at the start).
Do I have to pay
Usually no as legal advice from LFYP lawyer is funded by the Legal Services Commission.
